KAL are delighted to be able to confirm our reopening for the third and, hopefully, the final time.
We appreciate the last 12 months have been very challenging for us all and we would like to thank all our loyal customers for their continued support. Staying healthy, both in mind and body, has never been more important and KAL is committed to providing COVID-19 - secure facilities to allow our customers to be active in a safe environment.
Membership re-start details
KAL KLUB & KAL Swim Performance (including Fitness, Swim & Tennis)
All memberships will be automatically reinstated from Monday 12th April (subject to final Government approval) except for the categories below that will remain frozen (you do not need to contact us):-
- KAL KLUB Fitness
- KAL Swim Performance Masters & Masters+
- Tomorrow’s Terriers
- Batley Baths & Recreation Centre
General Swimming at Holmfirth Pool and Fitness Centre – which will open from Monday 19th, the gym and KAL KLUB swimming lessons will re-open from 12th April.
KAL KLUB Swim & Tennis
We appreciate it may have been a while since your last lesson and some slight changes may have been made to your programme. You can check your child’s class details by logging into your home portal. If you need help using your home portal, please refer to our guidance available.
If you do not wish to continue with your child’s membership, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request cancellation. However, if you have any queries about changing your child’s time / day, etc. you can email our Aquatics team.
KAL Swim Performance
KAL Swim Performance will return to training with the programmes which were issued in January 2021. This will be re-sent prior to opening to confirm your training programme.
Masters – due to current Government restrictions we are unfortunately unable to initially deliver the Masters sessions. However, if you would like to arrange for a temporary membership please email email@example.com
Customers who paid a Direct Debit on 15th / 25th December 2020 or on 1st / 8th January 2021.
We understand that some customers made a payment on the above dates and did not receive the associated full month of usage. All payments made in December and January which cover any period after 5th January 2021 have been taken into consideration when calculating next payment dates.
In recognition of this and as a thank you for your loyalty, Direct Debit collections will not restart until 15th May on your normal collection dates for customers who paid on one of the dates listed below – this covers all credits and refunds due and no further credit or refund will be offered.

Customers who did not make a payment between 15th December 2020 and 8th January 2021.
As no credit is due, your next payment will be taken on your normal collection date from 15th April onwards.

To help support the physical and mental wellbeing of our customers, KAL will continue to offer and develop YourKAL, our live streaming and on demand service via the KAL app. KAL would like to encourage our customers to please make use of this service, which provides a range of fitness classes, home workouts and wellbeing tools for customers and their families to enjoy.
